STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
** Mechanical Engineering Intern
** to join our
** Buildings
* * team. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects.  This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office. Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time.
** Responsibilities:
*** Assist in HVAC designs, calculations, and reports for various building projects.
* Participate in equipment selection and specification writing processes.
* Lead projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance as needed.
* Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and make recommendations based on their needs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, traffic, and geotechnical engineers.
* Plan, organize, and develop engineering activities for construction and maintenance projects.
* Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
* Devise innovative approaches to solve engineering problems.
* Prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
* Monitor work to ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
* Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

*** Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in
** Mechanical Engineering
** at an ABET-accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.

Compensation Range:$45,675.00 - $51,903.00
