The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or be willing to learn:
* Tasks in other practice areas within the company and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
* Strong attention to detail and organization skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Basic surveying principles and practices
* Use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels
* Basic math and geometry used in surveying calculations
* Reading and interpreting engineering plans, plats, and maps
* Construction layout and as-built surveys
* Topographic and boundary surveying
* Field note taking and data collection procedures
* Coordinate systems and basic surveying computations
* Use of AutoCAD or Civil 3D
* Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the company
This opportunity requires:
Education
* Associates or Bachelors degree in a survey related field or Computer Aided Design
License/Certification
* Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and/or a desire to obtain PLS preferred
