Mechanical Designer

Position: Mechanical Designer I
Looking to grow your career in mechanical design while working on real-world engineered products? Join DeZURIK as a Mechanical Designer I and contribute to the design and documentation of valve solutions used across critical industries.

In this Pittsburgh-based hybrid role, you'll collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to create and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings, support design updates, and help deliver accurate, manufacturable product documentation. While this role is based in our corporate office and not attached to a manufacturing site, you'll still gain exposure to how products are designed, built, and applied in the field.

You'll support drafting, simple design work, and customer-specific configurations-developing bill of materials, part numbers, and documentation within our ERP system. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to grow technical skills in a collaborative engineering environment.

What you'll bring:

* Associate degree or technical training in drafting/design (or related experience)

* Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, or Solid Works)

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

* Ability to manage priorities and work independently with guidance

* Basic understanding of manufacturing principles

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

DeZURIK offers a competitive hourly rate in the $24.74 to $30.93 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.
