Position Summary
Hydreogeologist – Engineering Firm, Bucks County, PA (Onsite) – $115K + Bonus.
Key Qualifications- Minimum 10 years' experience in environmental/hydrogeologic investigation and remediation.
- BA/BS degree in hydrogeology, geology, or engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Current 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
- Experience with proposal preparation, research, writing, and acquisition of grants (plus).
- Familiarity with PA DEP reporting and permitting (plus).
- Familiarity with groundwater modeling software (AQTESOLV or similar) (plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Professional Society Membership (plus).
- Manage environmental/geology/hydrogeology services.
- Perform evaluations of site conditions for conformance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Perform field investigations to determine the extent of surface and groundwater contamination; coordinate the collection of hydrogeologic data.
- Prepare and review geological reports containing drilling logs and descriptions of geological formations and groundwater occurrence, quality, and gradient; prepare hydrogeologic calculations, investigations, and studies.
