Required Skills:
- Associates Degree in Drafting or Design
- 10+ years of relevant experience in piping design
- Hands-on experience developing equipment layouts, facility designs, and 3D piping models
- Proficiency with CADWorx, Plant 3D, or AutoPLANT
- Strong understanding of industrial piping systems
- Ability to coordinate tasks, maintain project standards, and ensure QA/QC compliance
Nice to Have
Skills:
- Experience with orthographic drawings, isometrics, and bill of materials
- Knowledge of piping support selection and design
- Previous experience with client meetings and project coordination
Preferred
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree or higher in Drafting, Design, or a related field
- Over 10 years of hands-on piping design experience in industrial settings
- Proven track record in managing detailed piping projects from concept to completion
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site in the Pittsburgh area
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in industrial or large-scale facility projects is highly desirable
- Notable certifications in piping design or CAD software are a plus but not mandatory
