Mechanical Designer
All Tek Staffing is working with a local industrial valve manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area to help them fill a Mechanical Designer role for their R&D group. This is going to be a design heavy role and previous metals experience is a plus. This is a direct hire role. Prepare assembly and component drawings for sales orders, inquiries, or new product development using PTC Creo software.
Maintain configurations, generate bills of material, and load component and assembly data into ERP software. Prepare production and submittal packages for internal and external use (2D/3D electronic files, special tagging and notations, preparing paper copies, etc.). Perform drawing revisions and modifications, including updating of the ERP system. Work with assembly, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to resolve issues. Assist in training of new personnel on CAD functions and department procedures.
Two (2) + years of job experience in CAD design or product evaluation testing, associate degree or equivalent preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects concurrently.
