Project Engineer – Land Development & Municipal Engineering

What You'll Do:

  • Develop proposals, project plans, and schedules to ensure timely and effective project delivery
  • Manage the design, development, and implementation of innovative municipal utility projects
  • Oversee construction contract administration, project management, and client relations
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Mentor and assist in the professional development of staff
  • Participate in professional organizations and networking to stay ahead of industry trends

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 7+ years of engineering experience with a strong technical background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in infrastructure planning, design, asset management, and program management
  • Familiarity with EPA and state DEQ standards and regulations
  • Experience leading and managing project teams
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) credential is a plus

Nice to Have

Skills:

  • Experience in municipal utility design
  • Knowledge of construction contract administration
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities

Preferred

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • PE license highly desirable
