Become part of our team as an Electrical Design Technician in Greenville, SC or Pittsburgh, PA who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities as well as data center facilities.  You will also work on industrial facilities such as pulp and paper mills and steel mills.

At Jacobs, you will work with a multi-discipline team where interaction and communication are key to our success. We provide you with cutting-edge software tools and guidance from our professionals. Where you take it is up to you.

Your highly interactive team will produce electrical installation plans along with 3D models of equipment, lighting, conduit, cable tray and other electrical raceways.  You will develop layouts of major electrical distribution equipment and determine the location of other electrical panels and equipment.

Here is what you'll need:

* Experience:

5+ years in Electrical Design, preferably in manufacturing, petrochemical and industrial facilities

* Associate's degree from an accredited technical institution or college in Computer Drafting and Design, Architectural Drafting, or similar program

Ideally, you'll also have:

* Expertise in Revit, Navisworks and/or Revizto

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong communication skills both verbal and written

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas

* Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

* Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams often located in different offices

* Passionate about buildings and construction
