We are hiring for a Project Structural Engineer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis and lead projects while based in the Philadelphia, PA area.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee a variety of structural design, renovation, and inspection projects for various applications.
  • Perform structural design & analysis of building structural systems for various markets.
  • Design, detailing, and analysis of structures for low-rise & high-rise buildings with a variety of materials.
  • Prepare calculations and drawings for reports.
  • Develop finite element models for the analysis of complex structures.
  • Perform a variety of field-oriented tasks and develop corresponding site visit reports.
  • Work directly with clients to foster positive relationships.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience.
  • Active P.E. license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management and/or Project Management experience.
  • Experience working with the design and analysis of a variety of structural systems / complex projects.
  • Experience with nonlinear structural analysis.
  • Experience with structural inspections / assessments, especially with renovation projects.
  • Proficiency with engineering / CADD / BIM tools; experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software such as RAM, STAAD, ENERCALC, and/or Mathcad.
  • Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
