A growing transportation engineering firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead bridge design and rehabilitation projects throughout Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, mentor engineering staff, and deliver complex transportation structures for public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead bridge design and structural engineering projects
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, plans, and specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and transportation agencies
- Provide technical mentorship and oversee QA/QC reviews
- Support project planning, scheduling, and client communication
- Assist with proposal preparation and business development efforts
- Strong bridge design experience within transportation consulting
- Experience with bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects
- Knowledge of PennDOT and AASHTO bridge standards
- Strong leadership and technical communication skills
- PE license
- Experience with structural analysis and bridge design software
- Progressive experience leading bridge engineering projects
- Pennsylvania-based role
