An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to support the design and delivery of bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects throughout New York and Pennsylvania. This role offers excellent technical exposure alongside opportunities for project leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare bridge design calculations, plans, specifications, and reports
- Perform structural analysis and coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts
- Support bridge inspections and rehabilitation projects
- Coordinate with transportation agencies and project stakeholders
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and technical delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to QA/QC processes
- Experience in bridge design and structural engineering
- Knowledge of AASHTO, NYSDOT and/or PennDOT bridge design standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within multidisciplinary transportation teams
- PE license (or working towards licensure)
- Experience with Micro Station, Open Bridge, LEAP Bridge, or similar software
- Experience with bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects
- Flexible location across New York or Pennsylvania
