Position: Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE)

Join Our Growing Engineering Team

Sustainable Energy Services (SES), the engineering division of Huckestein Mechanical Services, is seeking an experienced Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) to help lead the development of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, and educational facilities.

This is not a traditional consulting engineering position. We're looking for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems, spending time in the field, collaborating with project managers and foremen, and developing practical, constructible designs that can be successfully built.

If you enjoy renovation work, investigating existing buildings, and seeing your designs become reality, we'd like to talk with you.

Huckestein Mechanical Services is a full-service mechanical contractor specializing in:

  • HVAC Construction
  • Plumbing Construction
  • Design-Build Projects
  • Plan & Specification Construction
  • Building Controls
  • Mechanical Service
  • In-house Engineering through Sustainable Energy Services (SES)

Unlike many consulting firms, our engineering team works directly alongside our estimating, project management, fabrication, and construction teams. Every design is developed with constructability, cost, and long-term performance in mind.

At Huckestein Mechanical, engineering isn't separated from construction—it drives it. Through Sustainable Energy Services, you'll work alongside estimators, project managers, field leaders, and skilled tradespeople to develop practical, buildable solutions that improve facilities throughout Western Pennsylvania.

You'll have the opportunity to see your designs built, solve challenging problems in the field, and help shape the future of a growing engineering division.
