Global Investment Operations; GIO Internship

Position: 2026 Global Investment Operations (GIO) School Year Internship
Federated Hermes Summer Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain "hands on" experience and develop professional skills as well as the ability to network wtih talented professionals and gain insight into career possibilities within the asset management industry. The program includes a variety of events to enhance your internship experience, provide information about the firm and foster collaboration.

Purpose of the Internship:

As a GIO School Year Intern, you will provide day to day, timely delivery of high-quality investment and portfolio data to investment professionals, clients and vendors. You will collect, analyze, calculate and report information that is critical to the firm's operations. Through this internship, you will be provided with an opportunity to gain experience in two of the following:
Enterprise Data Operations, Portfolio Operations, Global Trade Services, Middle Office Integration, Market Data and Trading Operations.

Major Duties:

* Monitor investment and portfolio data maintained in Federated Hermes' data warehouse(s)

* Reconcile daily security pricing, portfolio market values and cash flows

* Provide daily investment management cash availability

* Assist in the production and revision of derivatives contracts with counter parties

* Track trades through the settlement process

* Monitor derivatives transactions including collateral management

* Assist with the account lifecycle activities of our funds/accounts

Hours/location:

* Full-time summer schedule working 37.5 hours/week and part-time school year schedule working 15-20 hours/week. Work hours will be flexible based on student's schedule.

Position Specifications:

* Pursuing a degree with a concentration in business or related major preferred

* Proficiency with Word and Excel required;
PowerPoint preferred

* Interest in the investment industry
