Position Title:Mortgage Servicing Support Analyst 1
Business Unit:Mortgage Administration
Reports to:Manager of Analytics and Reporting
Position Overview:
The incumbent will create and maintain reporting and analytic efforts for the Servicing area. They will drive data reporting solutions to improve the business and data integrity. Responsible for data tracking and aggregation for reporting to senior management and regulators. Responsible for managing data required for servicing related projects. Is responsible for ensuring all Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS) related functions are completed in accordance with MERS rules.
Incumbent will also assist with eOscar credit disputes, subordinations and partial releases.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build, develop and maintain data reporting for all of mortgage servicing in Microsoft Excel, IBM Cognos Business Analytics, and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Aggregate information through charts and graphs with added commentary as appropriate.
Create new analyses, models and/or tools that deliver insights that enable the business partners to further their objectives.
Performs all process functions related to Mortgage Electronic Registration System (MERS). Establishes the acquisition and timelines with all parties internal and external for MERS.
Performs MIN level research on any MERS portfolio reconciliation. Reviews and maintains all reporting provided by MERS.Coordinates any tasks or projects related to MERS.
Performs the monthly and quarterly reconciliation of loans boarded on the core servicing system to MERS. Maintains the Global Address List (GAL) email account for official MERS communication.
Collects, understands and defines project business requirements and translates them into functional specifications/reports.
Supports management with various reporting functions to monitor business performance and other needs.
Responsible for all mortgage subordinations and partial release functions.
Reviews collateral appraisal reports to ensure the collateral valuation maintains the LTV of the loan, analysis of additional documentation for proper protection of FNB collateral for loan.
Investigates and responds to all credit bureau disputes, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Regulation V. Responding timely to either direct or indirect disputes, through the eOscar system.
Maintains reports and evidence of completed actions on all disputes. Maintains and updates operations procedures for eOscar as needed.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
