Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics, Global Operations
As our Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics, Global Operations, you will be in a critical new role in the Operations Finance organization. This role is crucial as we continue to progress global standards in costing practices, support models, and reporting and analytics capabilities. You will identify and deliver cross-region process improvement and policy alignment projects. Additionally, you will deliver existing and new analytical support to our Senior Vice President of Operations and their leadership team.
Furthermore, you will implement process improvement projects within our Global Operations Finance team. You will report to our Global Finance Director, Operations and work with Operations and Finance partners throughout our company. You'll work a hybrid schedule at our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters.

Main Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to align critical accounting processes globally. Work to develop new policies and procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness and costing alignment across business, regions and facilities. Including at-risk inventory, annual conversion cost updates, MRO inventory
- Deliver timely, accurate reporting and analytics to the Global Operations organization. Continue to build One-PPG view of operations performance.
- Support critical Operations projects through thoughtful and insightful financial reviews, driving productivity across the P&L and balance sheet
- Develop center of expertise for decision support related to sourcing decisions and costing for new product introductions
- Work with the Global Operations Finance team to identify and deliver process improvement initiatives for the team. Leverage global organization to implement best practices
- Provide coaching and development through supervision of a small, high performing team
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline with 10+ years of functional, or comparable, experience
- Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle, SAP)
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement concepts
- Knowledge of accounting and control processes with a large, complex organization
- Ability to work with multiple sources of diverse and complex information to resolve issues.
- Experience with the financial closing cycle, audit processes and control environment
- Willingness to travel globally, 10-15%
