CLO – Client Reporting Associate
Supports the preparation and delivery of Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) compliance and investor reporting. This role focuses on executing established reporting processes, maintaining model accuracy, and supporting client service teams through timely and accurate analysis. The associate works closely with senior reporting analysts, Client Service Managers (CSMs), and Position Servicing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support CLO Compliance & Waterfall Reporting
- Assist in running CLO compliance and waterfall models under established frameworks.
- Prepare draft sections of periodic CLO reports in alignment with agreed reporting timelines.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and documentation of model outputs prior to review.
- Client & Internal Coordination
- Support senior team members in discussions with clients related to compliance test results and inputs.
- Act as a liaison between Position Servicing and Client Service teams to help facilitate smooth information flow.
- Issue Identification & Resolution
- Identify basic data or model discrepancies during the reporting cycle and escalate as appropriate.
- Assist in resolving straightforward modeling or data issues using defined procedures.
- Coordinate with Position Servicing teams to address standard data validations or exceptions.
- Quality Control & Review Support
- Incorporate client or auditor feedback into models and reporting packages under supervision.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance calculations align with transaction documentation.
- Process & Workflow Support
- Follow documented reporting processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain organized records of assumptions, test inputs, and reporting outputs.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–3 years of experience in financial services, reporting, analytics, or operations.
- Strong interest in structured finance, CLOs, or fixed‑income products.
- Foundational understanding of financial modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA, SQL, or reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
