Accounting And Trading Support Specialist

Under minimal supervision, provides accounting and trading support activities for funds of moderate complexity.

Performs reviews of moderately complex documents processed from across the Bank to confirm compliance with established processes and procedures.

Reviews moderate volume of documents to ensure processors followed established procedures and took on minimal risk. Leverages some knowledge of processes of procedures to confirm findings.

Tracks fund data and trades. Maintains records of moderate complexity in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Searches for fail points in processes and drafts error reports to be provided to clients. Has some knowledge of compliance rules and service level agreements.

Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when researching issues, identifying root causes, and resolving operational challenges.

Able to effectively multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver accurate work in a high-volume environment.

Brings a curious, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning, process improvement, and collaboration across teams.

Mutual Fund experience preferred

Prior Financial services experience preferred

Bachelors degree preferred

Experience in financial services, operations, or accounting-related support roles.

Familiarity with reconciliation or transaction-based operational processes.

Exposure to process improvement initiatives, automation, or AI-enabled tools that support operational efficiency and analysis.

Duration: 6 month contract opportunity

Hybrid Work Model: 4 days onsite required weekly in Downtown Pittsburgh office

Rate Range: $25-30/hr w2 (based on experience)
