Senior Specialist, Regulatory Oversight Management

BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist, Regulatory Oversight Management to drive strong compliance and risk practices across our global financial services. In this role, you will monitor regulatory changes, support exams and audits, and oversee controls to ensure adherence to complex banking and securities regulations. You will collaborate with risk, legal, and operations partners to evaluate issues, recommend remediation, and enhance governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory oversight activities for assigned business lines, ensuring adherence to applicable financial regulations and internal policies
• Monitor, analyze, and report on regulatory changes impacting BNY's products, services, and operations
• Coordinate and execute control testing, risk assessments, and issue remediation related to regulatory compliance
• Prepare clear documentation, dashboards, and management reports for senior stakeholders and regulators
• Partner with risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams to strengthen the control environment
• Support regulatory exams, audits, and inquiries by gathering evidence and drafting responses
• Identify process improvements and control enhancements to reduce compliance and operational risk
• Provide guidance to business partners on regulatory requirements and best practices
• Contribute to governance forums and oversight committees with timely risk and compliance insights
• Mentor junior team members and share subject-matter expertise in regulatory oversight
