Do you want to make a meaningful impact by supporting the behavioral health managed care system as a Human Services Program Representative 1 with the Department of Human Services? This position gives you the chance to apply analytical skills, communicate clearly, and guide contract compliance. You will work with many partners who rely on your expertise and guidance. Your commitment will help strengthen outcomes for consumers, families, and communities.

This position supports the monitoring and evaluation of behavioral health managed care contracts across assigned counties. The work focuses on ensuring compliance, providing consultation, and reviewing information that guides key decisions. As a Human Services Program Representative 1, you will perform the following duties:

  • Contract Oversight:Review behavioral health managed care agreements and assess compliance across counties
  • Information Review:Analyze reports, data, and supporting documents to identify trends, issues, and needed actions
  • Consultation Support:Provide guidance to counties, providers, and agencies on regulations, policies, and contract requirements
  • On-Site Evaluation:Conduct visits to programs and facilities to assess safety, service delivery, and adherence to standards
  • Issue Tracking:Follow corrective actions, monitor outcomes, and report findings to appropriate groups
  • Community Engagement:Participate in meetings, committees, and reviews to represent the agency and support shared goals

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to three days per week. You will be required to report to 1001 Sterigere Street, Norristown, for two days per week unless you are conducting business with a provider or business partner at their location. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
