UPMC - - Responsibilities:
Provide routine patient care and support the department services per policies.;
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting, ambulating, turning and repositioning patients, and blood glucose.;
Monitor vital signs and perform simple medical tasks (e.g., EKGs, bladder scans, specimen collections).;
Work under the direction of nurses and physicians to maintain quality patient care.;
Participate in the Nursing Support Career Ladder and training requirements.
