In addition to the normal schedule, there will be 1 holiday required per year. Experienced nurses who are interested in applying must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within a Medical/Surgical Unit to qualify.
This position will primarily support the Admissions team, focusing on admission assessments, medication reconciliation, and mobility evaluations - mainly within the Emergency Department. Duties will expand to include patients admitted throughout the hospital after training. Other duties required of this position will be assisting physicians with entering admission orders, preforming skin assessments on newly admitted patients, providing care for patients in the Emergency Department holding areas, supporting discharge process across the hospital, and assisting with the facilitation of teleneurology visits through the hospital - primarily during scheduled weekends.

Qualifications:
* The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit as specified below.
* They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.
