Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities! In this role, you’ll lead the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers to craft creative sourcing strategies, manage requisitions, and keep job postings fresh and accurate. Your goal will be to attract and hire top talent, both active and passive candidates, that drives business growth and supports organizational objectives.

You’ll play a key role in shaping a positive candidate experience, coordinating structured interviews, and ensuring compliance every step of the way. You’ll also build lasting relationships with local trade schools, universities, and industry associations to develop a strong, ongoing pipeline of future talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, partnering with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent.
  • Craft creative sourcing strategies and manage requisitions to ensure the right candidates are engaged at the right time.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with passive candidates to build a pipeline of high-potential talent.
  • Maintain staffing levels at or above 95% of plan while meeting key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill.
  • Maintain and optimize our Applicant Tracking System to keep candidate workflows smooth and organized.
  • Guide candidates through every step of the hiring process, providing a positive and professional experience.
  • Coordinate structured interviews and assessments, ensuring timely and effective evaluations.
  • Present compelling offers to selected candidates and clearly communicate expectations to set them up for success.
  • Support onboarding and first-day orientation to help new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and confident in their new roles.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal hiring regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with local trade schools, universities, and other talent sources to create a consistent pipeline of top talent.
  • Continuously explore and implement improvements in recruiting strategies and sourcing methods to stay ahead in a competitive market.
Requirements

The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related business field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition.
  • Thriving in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating autonomy and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Building trust and working independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRMS platforms; experience with Paylocity is a plus.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors and communicating effectively at all levels, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Exhibiting initiative and strong interpersonal savvy.
  • Excelling at planning and organizing.
  • Committed to developing personal and organizational capability.
