This role offers hands-on experience in assisting in the design, coordination, and implementation of employee training programs while supporting broader HR functions. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to work with people, helping to support their professional development and career aspirations, while contributing to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and delivery of training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, and compliance courses.
* Support the creation and maintenance of training materials, schedules, and documentation.
* Help track employee training progress and maintain accurate records in HRIS systems.
* Collaborate with HR and cross functional teams to identify workforce development needs.
* Participate in organizing training sessions, conferences, and learning events.
* Conduct research on best practices in industrial training and workforce development.
* Provide administrative support for HR projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
* Education:
* Currently enrolled as a graduate student or upperclassman (Junior/Senior) within a higher education degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Curricular or Program Design and Management, or a related field.
* Personal Attributes:
* Take ownership of tasks and work hard to deliver results.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across the organization.
* Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and contributing to shared goals.
* Able to take and apply direction effectively, while also being self-motivated and proactive in starting tasks without constant supervision.
* Preferred Experience:
* Exposure to or coursework in human resources, education, training, workforce development, or coaching
* Experience in creating or delivering educational content, facilitating learning sessions, coaching, or supporting employee onboarding and/or development programs is a plus.
* Technical
Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HRIS platforms is preferred.
* Other Requirements:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
