What You’ll Do as a Payroll Specialist

• Process payroll for multiple clients across various industries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• The Payroll Specialist will maintain payroll records, manage deductions, and ensure timely and accurate tax filings
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients and employees, researching and resolving discrepancies efficiently
• The Payroll Specialist will stay current on payroll laws and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance
• The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with HR, accounting, and finance teams to streamline and improve payroll processes
• Assist with year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and 1099s

What We’re Looking For in a Payroll Specialist

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience; multi-client or multi-state experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of wage and hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
