Our client is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support the Payroll Department with employee data, payroll processing, reporting, and employee inquiries. This position will also serve as a backup to the Payroll Specialist and assist with U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll.
Responsibilities- Payroll Coordinator
- Enter new hires and employee changes into payroll, timekeeping, expense management, and other systems
- The Payroll Coordinator will review timesheets and assist with identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Serve as backup to the Payroll Specialist and assist with U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll processing
- Assist with benefit vendor file feeds and ensure accurate payroll deductions
- Process unemployment notices, tax withholding, child support orders, and other garnishments
- The Payroll Coordinator will prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to Finance, Human Resources, and department leaders
- The Payroll Coordinator will respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Support the corporate credit card program and assist with employee setup and issue resolution in Concur
- Payroll Coordinator
- 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered
- General knowledge of multi-state payroll, employment regulations, and income tax laws
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
