Human Resources Summer Associate Internship

We're excited to begin the recruitment process for our Human Resources Summer Associates!  The Human Resources Summer Associates Program is a 10-week, paid internship. Interns will be placed within different human resources departments throughout the downtown Pittsburgh/Oakland region, and they'll focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations.

During your internship, you'll have the opportunity to network with UPMC executives, give back to the Pittsburgh Community through service events, receive mentorship, enhance your skills with hands-on real-world experience, and most importantly, work on projects that make an impact on patient care while gaining knowledge on how we provide Life Changing Medicine.  Oh, and you'll have a little bit of fun too!

Recruitment Timeline Expectations

+ September - October 18th:  Accepting applications

+ Early October through Early November:  Video interviews conducted

+ Mid November through Early December:  Formal interviews conducted

+ Mid December:
Offers extended

+ Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Health Care Administration, or a related field is preferred

+ Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

+ Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated leadership ability through their studies, employment, or extracurricular activities

+ Availability to participate in the Summer Associates Program full-time from June to August 2027 for approximately 10 weeks with minimal absence
