HR Generalist

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This is an onsite position for an HR professional with a well-rounded generalist background and the ability to independently support managers and employees across a variety of Human Resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with particular strength in employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law compliance, benefits, and leave administration.

Responsibilities Serve as an HR resource and advisor to managers and employees on workplace issues, policies, and HR practices Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on appropriate resolution Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions Administer and support employee benefits programs Coordinate employee leaves, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, Workers' Compensation, and other applicable leave programs Interpret and administer company policies and procedures Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Provide support related to compensation programs and employee changes Assist with employee engagement, retention, and workplace initiatives Support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities Partner with managers to address performance, attendance, conduct, and other employee concerns Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience Broad HR generalist experience across multiple HR functions Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience Hands-on knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, and leave administration Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements Experience administering employee benefits and interpreting HR policies Ability to independently advise managers and handle sensitive or complex employee matters Strong judgment, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
