The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing full-cycle payroll and supporting the administration of employee benefits, leave programs, and related HR processes. This person will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership while ensuring payroll and benefits are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable regulations.
Payroll Analyst ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle payroll accurately and on time, including adjustments, voids, reconciliations, and payment processing
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave
Support benefits administration for new hires, open enrollment, and ongoing employee needs
Manage 401(k) administration, including audits, committee materials, and coordination with advisors and recordkeepers
Oversee leave administration and workers' compensation claims
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
Maintain knowledge of regulations including ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, and ACA
Audit and analyze payroll and benefits data and prepare reports for leadership
The Payroll Analyst will manage relationships with benefits and payroll vendors
Reconcile vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
The Payroll Analyst will coordinate compliance reporting and audits
Identify opportunities to improve payroll, benefits, and HR processes
Support employee training and communication related to payroll and benefits
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or a related field
3+ years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, HR, or a related role
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Knowledge of payroll and benefits regulations and compliance requirements
