Job OverviewSenior Lead Software Analyst, Technical Support will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and correcting data discrepancies related to policy records within the system. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy records are accurate and up to date, supporting data integrity and effective policy implementation and decision-making processes.
Location note: Majesco is a remote-first workplace; however, this position requires the successful candidate to be within commuting distance of Erie, Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities- Data Analysis & Correction:
Identify and analyze data discrepancies related to policy records and execute data corrections in line with established procedures. - Incident & Problem Management:
Deliver a superior customer experience by understanding incidents, performing root cause analysis, and updating policy records; ensure accurate data entry and management of sensitive policy data. - Collaboration with Teams:
Work with triage, TAM/escalations, and IT/Cloud support to resolve issues and escalate complex problems as needed. - Documentation & Reporting:
Document fixes and resolutions with clear logs for reporting and auditing; update triage team and stakeholders on progress. - Quality Assurance:
Review and validate policy data, perform data integrity checks, and follow up on inconsistencies. - Operations and Maintenance:
Perform daily operational activities to minimize downtime; monitor application/database and address performance bottlenecks.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology with 7+ years of experience in Banking, Insurance, or related field (or equivalent).
- Experience with Majesco Property & Casualty (Billing) or similar insurance-related solutions.
- Proven experience in data management or data analysis, preferably with Property & Casualty Insurance background.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools with focus on Oracle, SQL or other database query languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify technical issues; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; experience documenting analysis using Service Now, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience with software versioning & revision control systems (e.g., SVN).
- Strong technical aptitude for both cloud-based and on-premises client solutions.
Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Salary decisions are based on multiple factors including responsibilities, experience, location, education, skills, and market data.
