The primary function of this role will be to analyse and optimise technical systems, primarily JD Edwards and associated integrations, support end‑users, and work closely with cross‑functional teams implementing business process improvements within the ERP.

Responsibilities include business analysis and design, in addition to writing comprehensive design documentation, functional specifications and presenting these to business stakeholders.

Other core functions include troubleshooting issues, system and integration testing of enhancements, implementing enhancements, configuring system settings, and developing cost‑effective solutions.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient sales and distribution operations (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay).

Configuring and maintaining JDE modules related to Sales and Distribution, such as sales order process setup with and without advance warehousing using RF GEN type of solution, advance pricing, transportation, inventory management, cycle count, product costing, etc.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to sales and distribution processes within the JDE system.

Setting up the Distribution and Manufacturing Automatic Accounting Instructions (DMAAI).

Providing training and support to end‑users on JDE Sales and Distribution functionalities.

Analyzing data and generating reports to monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.

Participating in system upgrades, tool upgrades and enhancements related to JDE Sales and distribution modules.

Staying updated on industry best practices and trends in manufacturing technology to optimise JDE system usage.

Providing support for primary‑use applications and functional areas within the Business Solutions team.

Serving as the primary subject‑matter expert for assigned business functions such as Sales Order Processing, Transportation, Advanced Warehousing, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Purchase Order Processing, Master Data Management, or Supply Chain/Inventory Management.

Continuously developing and enhancing knowledge of business functions to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Participating in analysing and designing system solutions. Providing guidance to development teams using a standard SDLC model from concept through analysis/requirements, development, quality assurance, implementation, and decommission.

Assessing the impact of proposed solutions on the business.

Developing use cases to explain and demonstrate business requirements/specifications to the IT team and contributing a business perspective during design reviews.

Applying ITIL‑type methodologies to manage functional and technical issues. Handling incident management, assisting in technical investigations to identify root causes, and creating mitigation plans for user processes.

Analyzing and recommending improvements to business processes and technology.

Designing and executing training for customers, help desk personnel, and system developers on new and existing processes.

Managing issue resolution with appropriate urgency, negotiating and resolving conflicts with customers, helpdesk personnel, and developers.

Escalating issues to management and senior leadership as needed.

Independently managing small projects, leading application, infrastructure, and business resources using the SDLC model.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business and technical partners, as well as customers, to enhance system efficiency and IT support.

Being prepared for both domestic and international travel as required (less than 15 percent).

Performing other projects or duties as assigned.
