IT Business Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Job Summary
This role performs business analysis tasks by supporting stakeholders of a specific system application(s), handling user inquiries/issues, and enhancing the system. The incumbent has a deep understanding of the application(s) supported, user interactions, and integrations with other systems. Through analysis, the incumbent determines solutions and works with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements that may include training, process changes, or business rule modifications.
The role also traces business requirements to test plans and cases, reduces resolution time for issues, and identifies anomalies.
- Work with customers, application developers, and team members to capture capability needs and deliver quality business solutions.
- Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, requirements, client personalization, and user interface design.
- Participate in the full project life cycle, actively contributing to project teams based on experience and need.
- Support various aspects of requirements testing (testing plan, scenarios, schedule, outcomes, user task analysis, documentation, defect management, results analysis) to minimize production defects.
- Ensure compliance with required standards (e.g., SOC
2) and obtain necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle. - Run system reports and/or create ad‑hoc reports, pulling data from various sources.
- Analyze reports to ensure system performance and results.
- Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners, and management by reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions, and providing accurate documentation.

- High School Diploma / GED (required)
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Business Administration/Management
- 3–5 years in a relevant operational area (e.g., customer service, claims, enrollment, billing) including 1–3 years of technical application experience (required)
- Preferred: 1–3 years in the Health Insurance Industry
- Preferred: 1–3 years in the Healthcare Industry
- Preferred: 1–3 years in Lean/Six Sigma

Physical, Mental Demands and Working ConditionsPosition Type:
Office‑Based. May be required to travel and work at various sites. Physical demands include lifting up to 10 pounds routinely, 10–25 pounds occasionally, and no lifting beyond 25–50 pounds. Work requires mental concentration and analytical attention.

Pay RangeMinimum: $58,100.00 – Maximum: $90,000.00 (base pay determined by qualifications, experience, and market).
