Role Description

The Director of Information Technology is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Philadelphia area. This position oversees all IT operations, including infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity, hardware and software lifecycle, and user support across the retirement community. The Director will develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals, ensure system reliability, and maintain regulatory and security compliance, and manage vendor relationships.

Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring IT staff, setting and monitoring performance standards, planning and executing technology projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering with leadership to identify technology solutions that improve resident services and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT Management and IT Operations, including leadership of technology teams and oversight of enterprise systems.
  • Strong foundation in Information Technology, with experience managing infrastructure, applications, and end-user support in a campus-based environment.
  • Proficiency in Network Security, including risk assessment, security controls, incident response, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that supports organizational objectives, budget constraints, and long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP) are preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or a highly regulated environment is beneficial.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives, manage budgets, and deliver solutions on schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, staff, residents, and external partners.
