JOB DESCRIPTION Primary Responsibilities Install and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux Environment. Configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers. Deployment and migration of applications and Oracle databases. Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux Systems. Write and troubleshoot Linux Shell Scripts. Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions. Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.

Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers. Key Objectives Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service. Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs. Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments. Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.

Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. Documentation of infrastructure architecture, processes and operating procedures. (QUALIFICATIONS Section) Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 3-5 years' experience in Linux Server administration (Redhat/OEL) in large enterprise environment. At least 2 years' experience in building and managing Redhat Open Shift based Virtualized environments. Strong working knowledge of Linux:
Red Hat, OEL, CentOS, etc. Knowledge of Commvault Backup and EMC Data Domain.

Preferred Qualifications Redhat Linux Certification (RHCSA/RHCT/RHCE). Familiarity with HCI, VMWare, SAN management and Storage concepts. Working Knowledge of Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting. Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP. Strong problem solving and communication skills. Working knowledge of ITSM Tools (Service Now).
