Audio Visual Engineer

Overview

Susquehanna International Group is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer. Our A/V engineering team is committed to the design, development, deployment, and support of A/V technologies in our conferencing, training, and meeting rooms. Our mission is to maintain business productivity by providing highly effective-innovative solutions that meet the technology needs of the organization.

• Gain exposure to both our corporate user base and trading floor users.
• Maintain a deep partnership with other Susquehanna technology teams, facilities, and management will be crucial to the success of this role.
• Be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, which fosters multiple opportunities for growth both within and across our firm.

• We partner with our business and technology teams to ensure we are building and deploying innovating solutions for our users as quickly and effectively as possible.
• Our team works in a fast-paced environment that requires us to constantly be thinking of ways to maximize impact and value. We have to think quick to get a solution place, but also have the opportunity to research, test and build out longer term solutions to ensure our users aren’t encountering the same issues again and again.
• We stay on our toes and manage many day-to-day activities that require attention beyond our project work.
• One of the most interesting parts of our role is the exposure we gain. We get to work with all users at all levels of the organization. We get to experiment with cutting-edge technologies, including testing prototype hardware, firmware, and software in our pursuit of providing seamless and effective solutions.

• Install AV systems according to documentation and industry standards
• Support, install, and configure RF and IPTV solutions
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Basic Networking skills for patching and VLAN configuration
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Promote effective use of AV equipment
• Develop and maintain AV related documentation
• Inspect and maintain AV infrastructure
• Attend and participate in stakeholder and project meetings
• Support and manage AV vendor relationships
• Support and assist with AV events during normal and after hours events

• Logitech Sync and/or Cisco Web Ex Control Hub experience (AD, Teams integration)
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Room (MTR)
• Digital Signage experience

• Multicast, IPTV, RF TV experience

• Understanding of audio speakers, mic, and sound board technologies
• Video conference technologies and room systems (Logitech, Cisco, Zoom, Teams)
• Working knowledge of Windows 11
• Ability to effectively train others in one-to-one and one-to-many formats
• High energy and tinkering spirit
• Must be able to lift/move equipment up to 50+ pounds
• Must be able to work shifts within a 7 AM to 6 PM window.
