BNY is seeking a Vice President, Production Services Application Support to lead global support for critical financial applications. This role oversees incident, problem, and change management, ensuring stability, availability, and resilience of production systems across trading, custody, and data platforms. You will guide a global team, drive root-cause analysis, and partner with development, infrastructure, and risk to improve reliability. The role includes implementing automation, monitoring, and controls while aligning with regulatory expectations and client SLAs in a highly governed environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end production support for critical financial applications and services
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes to meet SLAs
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and drive permanent fixes and prevention
- Implement and optimize monitoring, alerting, and automation for stability and performance
- Partner with development, infrastructure, risk, and business teams on reliability and releases
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk, and control standards across supported platforms
- Manage and mentor a global application support team, including on-call coverage
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tooling, and documentation for production services
