Digital Transformation Professional
We are seeking a highly analytical, technically strong, and innovation-oriented professional to drive process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives within Middle Office. This role will focus on redesigning and modernizing operational processes through the use of digital tools, automation, data, and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving how work gets done.
This individual will assess existing workflows, challenge legacy processes, and help design more scalable, efficient, and intelligent operating models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process re-engineering initiatives across Middle Office to simplify workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve scalability, control, and transparency.
- Assess current-state processes, identify manual touchpoints, process breaks, and structural inefficiencies, and design future-state operating models.
- Use digital tools, automation, AI, and workflow technologies to transform legacy operational activities into streamlined, technology-enabled processes.
- Partner with operations, technology, product, and business stakeholders to understand pain points and develop practical re-engineering solutions.
- Translate business challenges into structured process designs, business requirements, and implementation roadmaps.
- Manage initiatives through the full project lifecycle, including intake, planning, requirements definition, execution, testing, implementation, and post-launch tracking.
- Use JIRA to support end-to-end project lifecycle tracking, including documenting epics, stories, tasks, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery progress.
- Maintain clear and accurate project records in JIRA to promote transparency, accountability, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment across initiatives.
- Support the development of AI-driven and automation-led solutions for exception management, workflow routing, decision support, and productivity enhancement.
- Apply data analysis and process metrics to evaluate performance, identify bottlenecks, and measure the impact of re-engineering efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement by establishing governance, controls, and monitoring frameworks for redesigned processes.
- Contribute to transformation initiatives from ideation through execution, including testing, rollout, and change adoption.
- Create clear documentation, presentations, and business cases to support stakeholder alignment and decision-making.
- Promote a culture of innovation, simplification, and continuous process improvement across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in process re-engineering, business transformation, workflow redesign, or technology implementation.
- Experience with digital tools, workflow platforms, automation technologies, data solutions, or AI-enabled capabilities.
- Experience managing work through structured delivery and tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify root causes of inefficiency, and design scalable future-state solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new domains quickly and apply structured thinking in unfamiliar environments.
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with ambiguity and change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with process mapping, process mining, workflow orchestration, robotic process automation, AI/ML solutions, or low-code/no-code tools.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar analytics and automation technologies.
- Experience using JIRA for end-to-end project delivery, workflow management, backlog prioritization, and dependency tracking.
- Exposure to agile delivery models, product-oriented organizations, or digital transformation programs.
- Experience supporting operating model redesign, control optimization, or business process modernization initiatives.
- Prior exposure to financial services, asset servicing, or middle office functions is beneficial but not required.
