Del Monte Foods has a powerful portfolio of brands, including the iconic Del Monte®, Contadina® and S&W®. We are currently seeking a Customer Supply Chain Senior Manager.

The Customer Supply Chain Senior Manager will be a leader of Del Monte's Customer Supply Chain function and team. This role is responsible for building strategic supply chain partnerships with Key Customers to integrate ways of working, enable enhanced go-to-market execution, advance joint business planning capabilities, and distinguish Del Monte as a value-added customer partner. This position leverages Supply Chain expertise to provide a competitive advantage through improved internal and external supply chain processes.

The Customer Supply Chain Senior Manager must demonstrate exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.

A successful incumbent is expected to (i) be a collaborative leader for the Customer Supply Chain team and support direct reports in their functional tasks and career development, (ii) drive operational excellence across areas of safety, quality, service and financial management, (iii) cultivate relationships with our customer partners across Supply Chain functions (e.g., Replenishment, Inventory Management, Transportation, Vendor Compliance, etc.), (iv) partner with multiple internal stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, and Finance, (v) support effective & efficient functioning of supply chain-related service, as well as contributing to longer-term initiatives around maximizing OTIF, Sales, Forecast Accuracy & Collaboration, and minimizing Cost to Serve, (vi) apply high technical aptitude by leveraging metrics and analytics to assess and improve supply chain functions, including managing large amounts of dynamic data and working directly in customer systems, (vii) be a SME for Key Customer requirements and expectations to support strategic and tactical business needs.

Minimum

Skills Required:

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or other related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience working in customer supply chain, sales, customer service, logistics, or customer finance within Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
• People Manager Experience
• Customer-Facing work experience, including ownership of customer relationships for diverse set of US Retail partners.
• Expert-level performer in analytics and data presentation, including working within multiple data sources/systems, demonstrating a fundamental knowledge of customer and supply chain systems, and presenting data in a way that can be understood by a broad professional team.
• Experience with customer systems, such as Retail Link, 84.51, Partners Online, Vendor Central, etc.
• Experience with Joint Business Planning and presentations.
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, MS Word, and Teams/Zoom.
• Excellent professional relationship building, intrapersonal skills, and teamwork experience required.
• Excellent customer service/relationship skills demonstrated.
• Experience working day to day with major retailers and customer contacts.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks, showing initiative as both an independent and a team contributor.
• Ability to pursue customer and internal team goals with a purpose and persevere through challenges, adopting an ownership mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SAP a plus.
• Experience with data visualization platforms, such as Micro Strategy, Power BI, Tableau is a strong plus.
