UPMC Passavant, an ANCC Magnet-designated facility, is seeking a Casual Environmental Services Associate to join our team at our McCandless location.

This role is a weekend only position. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays 6:30am - 3pm.

Conveniently located just north of downtown Pittsburgh off McKnight Blvd, our campus is only minutes from Ross Park Mall.

What You'll Do:

+ Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and equipment following established procedures

+ Prepare rooms for new patients (including bed-making and discharge cleaning)

+ Restock supplies such as paper products and soap to ensure areas are fully equipped

+ Remove trash and maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standards

+ Inspect assigned areas to ensure quality and report any maintenance or repair needs

+ Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment

+ Assist with moving furniture/equipment and completing special cleaning tasks as needed

+ Follow all safety, infection control and organizational guidelines

+ Performs other duties as assigned

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties.

+ Ability to use housekeeping equipment.

+ May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored.

+ No contact with medications is allowed. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Act 34
