McConway & Torley is seeking a Temporary Inventory Clerk for our storeroom. This role is project based, and expected to last at least approximately 3 months.
Location:
Pittsburgh, PA
Shift: 6am-2pm
What you'll be doing:
* Storing, labeling, and tracking inventory using computerized systems and handheld scanners
* Performing inventory counts, inspections, and basic quality checks as required
* Operating forklifts, company vehicles, and material-handling equipment safely
* Maintaining organization and proper storage of materials throughout the storeroom and warehouse
* Supporting loading, storage, and movement of materials according to established procedures
* Complying with all safety policies, including use of required personal protective equipment
* Working collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals
What you'll need:
* Ability to safely operate a forklift; certification preferred or ability to obtain
* One year of related warehouse, storeroom, or inventory experience preferred
* Working knowledge of inventory systems, scanners, or computerized tracking tools
* Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including lifting, standing, and working in industrial conditions
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
* Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
Working Conditions:
* Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
* This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
* Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
