• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support process standardization, layout optimization, and workflow efficiency.
• Specify and support tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in manufacturing operations.
• Provide hands‑on support on the production floor to troubleshoot and resolve process or assembly issues.

• BS or AS in Manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process improvement role.
• Proven experience leading CI or Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of lean principles (e.g., Kaizen, standard work, 5S, root cause analysis).
• Knowledge of sheet metal and/or circuit board assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with weld, paint, and assembly operations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with data analysis, time studies, and process mapping.
• CAD knowledge is preferred.

Creating a new Engineering team to focus on products to house their systems. Basically Sheet metal enclosure with electrical and electronic systems inside.

These are all new roles.

In all cases, the engineers need to want to be out on the plant floor helping to solve assembly or quality problems that happen with custom made to order assembly.

Key contributor helping to create new products in addition to improving existing products. Will be part of meetings with leadership, including President, to understand company goals, prioritizing projects, KPIs, and discussing customer needs….this is a collaborative environment where there are no walls between departments – everyone is in it together (production, operations, engineering) to get the work done.
