Foundry Laborer

Job Summary

Fulmer/Perma-Cast, a manufacturer and distributor of electric motor brush holders and a job shop for machined parts, is looking for a Foundry Laborer located at Westmoreland Industrial Park III in Export, Pennsylvania.

• Proper setup and safe operation of hot metal molds.
• Utilize foundry principles of metal melting, pouring, ladling, solidifying, and properly handle opening and closing of hot metal molds.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and other safety procedures.

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accuracy and responsibility required; many duties performed without close supervision.
• Training and/or experience using foundry hot metal molds and furnace apparatus preferred.
• Minimum 3-6 months on-the-job training under close supervision.

• Base pay: $19.00 per hour, subject to change based on training, experience, education, and other factors.
