Material Handler, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations, Forklift Operator
Material Handler at a premier manufacturing client in Telford, PA.
Pay Rate: $20 / hour.
Schedule: 1st Shift – 7am to 3pm.
- Handling, transporting, and storing inks, adhesives, chemicals, and related materials safely and efficiently.
- Performing color pulls for press approvals, minimizing waste, and supporting press operations.
- Receiving, unloading, staging, and moving materials to appropriate stock locations.
- Mixing, weighing, and delivering adhesives and inks to presses as needed.
- Applying color discrimination and color matching skills.
- Preparing and loading hazardous waste shipments in accordance with regulations.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards in ink and solvent areas.
- Completing cycle counts and inventory records.
- Cross‑training in other departments to support production needs.
- Training new team members and supporting ongoing staff development.
- Following all standard work procedures, safety guidelines, and plant policies.
- Preferably prior experience in ink handling, printing, or manufacturing (not required).
- Strong work ethic, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to follow SOP and safety guidelines.
- Physical capacity to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs; ability to leverage up to 400 lbs with hand trucks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
