Parts Room Technician I
Location:
Equipment & Assembly Plant - Pittsburgh, PA

Hours of work:
Mondays - Fridays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, or 7:30 AM - 4:00PM 40 Hours/Week
The Parts Room Technician
- Loads and unloads trucks using overhead cranes
- Operates fork trucks
- Uses small power tools
- Operates andmaintainsall personal safety equipment
- Clears and salts snow at assigned locations
- Assists with general warehousing duties
- Pulls inventory parts and issues them to production for project work
- Works with materials and parts based on drawings and bills of materials
- Locates and issues parts for daily sales orders
- Packs and ships sales orders using UPS World Ship (domestic and international)
- Weighs and loads carbon into small systems as needed
- Receives parts delivered to E&A
- Performs goods receipt transactions in SAP
- Verifies quantities of received materials
- Performs and documents cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Participates in yearly physical inventory process
- Assists in other shop areas as required

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
- 0-2 years Industrial experience is required
- Warehouse experience is preferred
