Production Manager

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Production Manager based in Reamstown, PA. The Production Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the Revolving Door production department in processing materials or manufacturing products in industrial organizations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE:
Base Salary $97,000 - $118,000 plus a generous Short Term Incentive Bonus (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.). Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

• Direct the Revolving Door product finalization, material handling, and shipping of all manufactured products at the most economical costs consistent with prescribed quality and performance standards
• Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations
• Assist in maintaining the personnel management programs by enforcing and explaining company policies as they relate to safety, human relations, and production goals
• Work closely with HR to manage employee relations issues and elevate to Plant Manager for further resolution, where appropriate
• Review production and operating reports and resolve operational manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
• Manage daily KPI’s

• 4 year college or university program certificate or engineering degree; or 5+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years’ experience in production management with management training
• Extensive understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes in custom production setting

• Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• ERP Experience or SAP in a manufacturing environment
