Pixartprinting is looking for a Production Supervisor for its plant in Warrendale. This role is essential for supporting the development, engagement, and performance of the production staff, helping to build a highly skilled, versatile, and motivated team capable of supporting the plant’s continued growth. The ideal candidate combines a solid understanding of production processes with a strong passion for developing people.
Rather than focusing exclusively on production output, this role will involve spending significant time on the production floor, working alongside operators to facilitate learning, strengthen skills, support employee growth, and foster a culture based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By serving as a trusted point of reference for employees, they will help strengthen organizational capabilities, develop future leaders, and ensure that the workforce possesses the skills and flexibility necessary to successfully support the plant’s ever‑evolving business needs.
Development
- Working with the other production supervisors, to create and maintain a comprehensive skills matrix for all production associates.
- Identify skills gaps and define action plans to address them.
- Develop individual development plans for operators.
- Collaborate with the other production supervisors, HR and the plant manager to define career development paths.
- Support succession planning for key roles in production.
- Monitor the workforce’s readiness to adopt new technologies, products, and processes.
- Design and coordinate onboarding programs for new production employees.
- Implement structured cross‑training initiatives to increase workforce flexibility.
- Manage certification and qualification programs.
- Measure the effectiveness of training through performance metrics and operational results.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning throughout the organization.
- Responsibility for scheduling shifts and monitoring time‑related goals

- Support the plant manager in decisions related to workforce planning.
