- Provide expert guidance on the design, implementation, and maintenance of specialized systems within the aviation and infrastructure sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet project specifications.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend upgrades or modifications.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff and stakeholders on the effective use and management of specialized systems.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing technical support as needed.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to evaluate system effectiveness and propose enhancements to optimize operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to ensure compliance and best practices are followed.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to system performance, project progress, and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from stakeholders and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Engage with external partners and vendors to assess new technologies and solutions that could benefit the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in specialized systems within the aviation or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing aviation and infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, or machine learning as they pertain to aviation and infrastructure.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or specialized systems (e.g., ITIL, Six Sigma).
- Previous experience working with government agencies or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in software tools relevant to system design and project management, such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or similar applications.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies to assess system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to aviation and infrastructure systems.
- This position may require occasional travel within the designated regions of Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and may need to obtain security clearances depending on project requirements.
