The Cleanroom Support Clerk is primarily responsible for cleaning, bagging, and cleanroom parts/assemblies. Additional responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) inventory control, order preparation for shipment, small assembly.
What will your day look like? At Aerotech, you will:
- Move parts and finished goods between departments
- Perform visual inspection of parts
- Perform limited measurements to verify function, size, or shape of parts or components
- Perform light assembly tasks such as small assemblies, threaded insert installation, packaging and labeling, etc.
- Prepare kits and groups of parts or components
- Package materials, parts, and finished goods for transportation
- Clean parts for use in clean rooms and high vacuum environments
- Work with a variety of communication mediums including cell phones (call and text), email, instant messaging, phones, and others as required
- Operate overhead cranes
- Ability to read and interpret written documents, write routine reports and correspondences, and speak effectively with employees
- Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and other documentation to determine the appropriate part routing and delivery
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written communication
- Read and understand maps, driving directions, and delivery instructions
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to operate a computer
- Qualified candidates must have experience utilizing tools
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Aerotech does not provide U.S. work authorization sponsorship for this position. OPT and CPT visa holders are not eligible for employment if they will need work authorization sponsorship at any time in the future.
