+ 50 bed unit specializing in critical care, emergent oncology care, and minor trauma care
+ Unique collaboration with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and designated Oncology ED for Southwestern UPMC region
+ Comprehensive care for all patients available 24/7
+ Primary stroke center
+ 24-hour cardiac catheterization lab for STEMI cases
+ Volume and acuity are variable and can change quickly, making the ED an extremely fast paced, unpredictable environment where rapid problem- solving and critical thinking are necessary to address evolving needs and priorities

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
+ PALS within 12 months of hire
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
+ Registered Nurse (RN)
+ Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
