Position Overview
We are seeking highly skilled CVOR Registered Nurses (RNs) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The RN will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating with the surgical team during complex cardiac procedures.
Pay Rates
- Full-Time: $50 - $55/hour
- Per-Diem: $55 - $60/hour
- Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures as a circulating and/or scrub nurse
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
- Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment
- Document procedures and patient care accurately
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in high-pressure surgical environments
- Support team collaboration and positive patient outcomes
- Adapt to varying surgical cases and schedules
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact license preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of CVOR or Operating Room experience required
- Experience with cardiovascular procedures strongly preferred
