- PAY RATE $26-$30/hr
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for a 17-year-old teen with complex medical needs related to a congenital condition affecting growth and development. This role focuses on promoting safety, comfort, independence, and quality of life in a supportive home environment.
Responsibilities Include:- Providing skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Monitoring health status and responding to changes appropriately
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assisting with activities of daily living as needed
- Supporting mobility, positioning, and comfort
- Communicating clearly with family members and healthcare providers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and care records
- Offering patient-centered, age-appropriate care with dignity and respect
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing
- Experience with pediatric or adolescent patients preferred
- Comfort caring for individuals with congenital or chronic medical conditions
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to work independently in a home-care setting
- Private duty or home health nursing
- Experience with medically complex patients
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment or mobility support
